Happy New J(o)ear

Haya, I'm sitting here just passed a major anxiety attack from looking up more about the statement and reference you need to apply to university in the U.K. (uuugghh). Now I'm blogging and watching Miss USA 2008.

Gosh I don't understand who on earth who make themselves go through those pageants, it's crazy. isn't horrible, they all jsut stand there in fancy (but ugly) dressesand smiles, of course competitors in these smiles but really they SMILE all the time and if you watch carefully you see the smaile transform into only keeping the corners of your mouth up so you show you teeth. Geesh, it's horrible. And the bathing suit event, it used to be pretty elegant but now it look mmore like an audition for making the playboy cover, nto at all tasteful. Yuck. And doesn't people just immediately think your just superficial and stupid when you do these things, even if you are not? Enough divatalk.

Songs of 2008:

10. The City is At War-Cobra Starship (I started to think everything else other than JB was crap in my ears but Cobra Starship is not. I like this kind of fun music, a bit "raw" but fun )
9. Like Woah-Aly and AJ (Didn't like it at first but after I got Disney Sing it and listened to it more, it's really good. I just love the rythm)
8. Tell Me Something I Don't Know-Selena Gomez (I didn't know she could sing but she's alright. This was one fo the songs to kept me sane during my Jonas strike, man it was aweful. I get so pumped up everytime I hear this song, it's awesome)
7. Scream-Zac Efron (Absolutely best song from HSM3, Zacs scream in the end would make a higher rank but that is not a song so..)
6. I Kissed A Girl-Katy Perry (Any list of this year without Katy is just not from 2008 XD. I love her style and I got so disappointed that her album sucked after obsessing overthis song. Freakin' catchy song)
5. With Me-Sum 41 (Heard this from an episode of Gossip Girl, fell in love, learnt on the guitar even before I knew the lyrics. An awesome song I still haven't gotten tired of)
4. La La Land-Demi Lovato (I was very suspicious when her CD came out, thought it would be all sassy and cheesy. But it's really good and I'ce gotten to like her more and more, from the first time I heard this song I thought this was her best song yet)
3. Burnin' Up-Jonas Brothers (Oh my, brings back wonderful summer memories. How I loved this when the single came out. The video is the best and Big Rob is the man!)
2. This Is Me-Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas (The Camp Rock soundtrack is awesome but this song is just extraordinary, I loved it from the very minute I heard it. Demi is great and together with Joe they are like the ultimate :D)
1. Video Girl-Jonas Brothers (Never in my life I've gotten such a connection with a song that this song. When I first heard it, I was convinced this was a musical perfection. I can honestly tell you that I think this song is the best song EVER made, so far you know the boys never stops surprising me)

Summing up 2008

Special today: No ice cream

What's up what's up what's uuuppp?! XD Höhö, I know I've been away for a while. I havne't been up to much just having the greastest anxiety from applying to the schools in UK.
Those few times I haven't felt like digging a big hole and hide for 100 years, I've played the guitar and maybe watch some TV (like old Ugly Betty episodes, love that show :) I've done one guitar tutorial for "A Little Bit Longer" and I hope you'd check it out ;). (I'll post the video in the end of this entry)

I've been visiting my friends in Helsinborg for the fast 2 days. And the photo is from there btw, in Gamla Stan. :) we went out to a café and had the like biggest carrot cake in the world, haha. (But good though :P) We never do something special but we always have so much fun. Like getting all delusional and giggly at the dinner table after dinner and laughing so much I cried during a game of pictionary. (Tacksamhet X'D, expressen och kompass Carro, wtf! XD)
We also saw Sisterhood of the Travelling pants 2. I haven't read the books or seen the last movie for years but it amazed me of how much I remembered. This sequel was based mostly on the fourth book and bits from the second. I liked that they had mixed the events from the different books, it makes the movie entertaining because it happen things all the time. And plus that it was so much fun watching Lucy Hale playing Lenas sister in the movie. (She has been in wizards of Waverely place)

For the nearest future I'm planning to do some more videos and a list of the songs of the year, like I did last year. And still I find the results from the poll utterly interesting so keep voting until the end. It's awesome. :)

So before I go I'm gonna tell write something random, I laughed my pants off the other day. You read this on a package: Open packet. Eat nuts. It was on a nutpacket....

Requests?! Requests?! What covers should I do? What tutorials should I do?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Happy Holidays guys! :)

I guess it was for us in Sweden yesterday but anyway. I think this x-mas has been very unlike any other. As I said I haven't really been looking forward x-mas muck, only the break from school. I haven't felt any x-mas spirit, but I guessed it would come along with the x-mas food and presents. It didn't quite do that.....but I'm nto gonan sit here and emo talk about my x-mas.

I could LOADS of presents this year, insane XD! I was moooost happy with the Jonas Brothers (cover of Rolling stones) poster I got from my sister, totally gorgeous! :)
I also got a new steelstringed guitar, a FENDER, I know awesome! XD I still have to get used to the sound andadjust my strumming patterns and chords, but it's all good. :P
We also got Guitar hero would tour with the drums and all that. I totally suck at drums (like I don't with the guitar XD) but it's much fun. Then I got some movies, necklaces, a guitar band, candle, skin pruducts, clothes and surely something more, I got tons XD. (And I still got some, my family has this tradition that we keep some x-mas gifts for new years eve :P aaannndd I got myself A BOOK...mhm a special book :P)
And I wanna thank my friends for giving me presents too, I loved them all. :) But I lacked JB things!! Haha jk.

SO thanks for checking in, I'm totally having a blast watching you guys doing my poll, it's great. Spread the word. ;) And why not listen to my featured song, x-mas is not yet over. :)
I'm gonna go and learn the "We Rock" dance now, see ya!

Here's my CD-60 BK Fender black. So beautiful :)

When is it christmas?

Haya, sitting here and should to make the x-mas present for my parents, but I am nooot. I should also look up the universities in U.K and..apply(AAAHH! XD), but I am nooooot. About the last one, I'm really scared that I won't make it until deadline. Stupid SYO! XD
I did a new poll today, are they not fun anymore? XD The participants have jsut gone downhill from the beginning with my polls. What's up? :P But pls do this one, I'm really really excited to see the results. And the running time for this is longer, so vote away people!

This might help: (? XD)

This is an old article, my sister found, from the Swedish newspaper Metro. Russel Brand like screw ya like. XD

I talked to a friend I haven't seen for so long today. I thought it was just me but apparently not. Did you know christmas is in 2 days? Isn't that crazy? Where's the x-mas spirit? I don't feel anything! Do you?
It's so weird, I usually crave x-mas eve during whole December. Counting down, watching the presents under the tree and feeling all christmasy. Not now, nothing.

Okej really gotta go back to my parents gift now. See you later alligator!

At Hamleys (toy store) in Edinburgh. This is just the Camp Rock section, you should ahve seen the High School musical and above all the Hannah Montana section!

You waited a bit too long

I know I promised for sooooo long! But here you have it. Jonas Brothers' A Little Bit Longer cover.

And btw, I've cut my hair. :P I'm actually really comfortable in it. Tell me what you think :) Be brutal!

What medicine do to you

This is the omni centre outside our apartment in Edinburgh, we never actually went to the cinema there, pity.

Second day home from death cold. To be a optimist the only good thing with being sick is this altered voice you get. Haha, it's fun to sound a bit different. Chchc. XD See, the medicine have made me all wacko. XD

Okej now I feel like being nice to people who feels like giving me x-mas presents XD. I've waited until now because I wanted to see you guys sweat a bit, höhö jk.
- A new guitar
-Trees
-Polarbear (polarbear sponsor that is)

In general that is everything I really want. But I know it could be slightly difficult so here are other ideas:
-Guitar stand (gitarr stativ)
-Guitar band
-Books, Swedish or English (I've realized I read much to little these days)
-Socks, stockings, tights (Those things for the feet ya know :P)
-Ugly Betty season 2box
-Heroes season 2 box
-Hat/cap/bonnet and gloves

But believe me that I will appreciate whatever you'll give me if you have given it a thought. And lastly I will (as you probably know) get all freakish about anything Jonas Brothers. ;)

Here goes perhaps one of the last x-mas gift tips:
POLARBEARS ARE NOT A MYTH!

Because of the fast melting polar ice the polar bears are near extinction. At this speed it's not just the polar bears that will be extinct but the pandas, tigers, killerwhales etc.
At this page (Swedish): http://www.wwf.se/insamlingsportal/show.php?id=1198110 you can be for example a polar bear sponsor and give 100 SEK/month. You decide yourself for during how long.

The polarbear should not be a myth, that is why I care this christmas.

I can't, I'm sick!

Haya guys I'm sick it kinda disgusts me just to click on the keyboard with my germy fingers. XD Haha, hope I didn't give you a mental picture.
I didn't go to school today but I still feel like crap. I do hope though that I can go tomorrow. It's the the "official" last day of school and I still have stuff to turn in and so on.

I just wanted you guys to know that I'm still here, I haven't forgotten you even though I'm like half dead. And btw, did you feel teh earthquake yesterday?
Here's a short Swedish article about it: http://www.metro.se/se/article/tt/2008/12/16/jordskalv/index.xml
I was sleeping badly the while night because of me getting sick. So in the morning, around 6 o'clock), I halv-conciously felt that my bed vibrated. I was like what? But I thought it was some contruction thing, like drilling on the ground or something so i didn't think more of that and fell asleep again. I didn't thinkmore of it until a classmate asked me in school if I felt the earthquake. It didn't even strike me at once that it could have been an earthquake, it never happen here in Sweden. XD It was 4,7 on the Richters scale, respect. ;)

So I gotta go before my laptop gets all slimed down, see ya!

Happy pill for the soul

I know everything I do/listen to/watches/ is (fjortifierat) dorky but really I am not a (fjortis) dork. XD Haha.

My dad got tickets for the whole family for High School Musical live on stage yesterday. It premiered in Malmö in September and they started to sell tickets this march (or soemthing), I actually looked up the tickets and prices but first I thought it was quite expensive (still it was cheaper bcause of early buying) and then that it was so far in the future, I was like I don't know what I'm doing in 7 months, I could be dead or something. So in the end I didn't go, my friend did though and she thought it was good.

I knew that when I came entered that auditorium I entered with prejudices, anticipations and all those things. I just knew it was going to silly. First off it's the actors looked (had seen pictures)silly trying to look like the real actors, secondly it's in Swedish, they sing in Swedish and at last it's High school musical, it pretty much says it all.

Even though I laughed out loud, not with them but at them, I thought it was a very good interpretation even some altered and added scenes were even better than the movie's. The dances are not great, they looked kinda weird and..just weird.
It was great anyway, just the atmosphere, the good singers and awesome script. And you just got this kick in the end when they performed some of the songs in English, you just had to sing along.
I strongly recommend for you (halv fjortisar) half dorks out there! ;)

They might sue me or something for uploading these photos, what the hey ;)

Return of a lousy blogger

Hi, a lousy blogger here.
Just when I thought: Yes, it's only one week left until x-mas holidays no more schoolwork the teachers overload you with new assignments. S I G H

About this week's Heroes episode: ELLE WILL COME BACK, I KNOW SHE WILL! Man there are so many people on the show now that makes me growl out of anger! (looool) And I can't watch Mohinder anymore, not if he doesn't cover himself. GOSH disgusting!

Quickly cut to the chase: X-mas present gift tip
As said I'm really into making all my x-mas presents this year. One of the ideas is the usual Scrapbooking.

Scrapbooks are way more fun and personal than the regular photo album. It's much more work indeed but it's much more appreciated. :)
I love scrapbooking because I love being creative and photographies. You might think there are so much stuff you need to get in order to make a scrapbook, and there are but not everything is necessary.

What you really need is:
-a photoalbum with paper pages
-photos
This is what you must have and the scrapbook could be very nice with cool black and white photos, creatice photo arrangements and funny texts. And why just use photographies, we live in a modern society. Print out pictures of celebs/clothes/things the person likes (the one you're making the scrapbook for)

I however suggest you to also get:
-stickers
-coloured papers
-photo corner stickers

I've also bought strings, figure puncher (blue thing on the top works like hole puncher)
And if you feel even more committed there tons of scrapbooking things you could buy; laces, handmade paper, buttons, design papers and so on. Check local bookstore and hobbystores. (in Malmö I'd recommend Panduro hobby and Matton)

I for example don't don't like to waste money on deisgnpaper and those fancy things, that's why I collect magazines in any kind. You'll find all sorts of patterns and stuff you could use.

Scrapbooking you could either play it up or play it down. I found these two samples on the net. They're both simple and pretty played down. There are also scrapbooks filled thousands of things on each page, which can be beautiful but I personally don't think you need so much sdtuff to make it beautiful. Less is more! :)

If you are tired of regular scrapbooking, why not try scrapcarding (??) XD.

GOOD LUCK!

The company that will take over

So here's a good old utterly random post for the sake of the sake. I found this a while back, when I was looking up facts about Scottish statistics over tourism or something. And it struck me just the resemblance of the both logos. The text, the colours and then the symbol. It was just a random thing that I would come across this "Scottish Enterprise" logo, werid isn't it? Okej, you have to a be a Heroes fanatic to get that but anyway. XD

I'm not planning on watching the new Heroes episode today :(, I figured I had enough stuff to to anyway but still here I am using time for nothing better. XD And plus my sister is so busy today she can't watch it, it's become regular that we watch it together at least this new season. But I'll definitely watch it before the end of the week and if something happens to Elle I will...........HURT SOMETHING!

Hey, an Edinburgh picture! I still have tons I haven't shown you so. Here's in the Museum of Childhood anyway. Which reminds me of all the x-mas presents that I need to get that I haven't. I'v got this idea that this year I will only give presents that is handmade by me........ The time isn't on my side right now. XD
I've got tons of ideas it's not that, it's just time. I was thinking of sharing these ideas for you indea-less people XD..but not today. Tomorrow? :)

Here's the wonderful sunset on our flight back from Edinburgh.

We care this x-mas, part 2

Hey, christmas is coming closer. You don't want to buy something utterly unecessary like candles or cups for your dears this year, not when you know that children in Bolivia dies in starvation every day.

I know your mum or your best friend's uncle's wife will stop and think if you gave them a "schoolbreakfast for 10 children in Bolivia". They will think wow, you are really profound and for a moment they can see that 7 year old Bolivian girl smiling while she enjoys her breakfast.

That's right, you can really buy schoolbreakfast for 10 children for 50 SEK. On this website you can: http://www.webaidshop.se/cat_show.aspx?subcat=12

And while you ar it why don't you check out; tree plantation in Uganda, hygiene packages for Kenyan girls or why not schoolbooks for Brasilian children.

At least 10 children will not starve tonight, that is why I care this x-mas.

Haha, I was bored one day XD

I'm sorry for the lack on update, I have a Psychology test tomorrow. I'll make it up to you soon, I swear :)

Nick can't stop smiling, me neither

Believe or not people of the world but Jonas Brothers are nominated as Best new Artist at the 51 th Grammy awards! OMJ right. They are nominated alongside Adele, Duffy, Lady Antebellum, Jazmine Sullivan.
The Grammy will air on CBS 9th February 2009. Don't forget ;)

Guys I have an confession to make.

I have sleeping problems. And this week have been worse than ever. I have a strange feeling that I've been writing about this before but this week have really been awful.
I guess it might have something to do with the timechange in Edinburgh, but shouldn't it be gone by now?
It takes quite a while for me to fall asleep normally too but this week, I haven't been able to sleep before an hour or so. I just don't get it! I normally go to bed around 22.30, yes because I really need all those beauty hours. XD This week I haven't been tired even around 24.00, but I still had to get up at 7.00 in the morning. I'm not much tired in school but when I get home and start to do my homework, I can't keep my eyes open! I couldn't have done much other than taking a nap and then force me to get up again.

I'm really into having a healthy everyday and sleeping is one of them. I always try to not sleep too late adn get up early. WHY CAN'T I SLEEP, anymore?! XD
We're reading about stress in Psychology and sleeping problems has much to do with stress. But does it mean I've been stressed almost my entire life?

It's like this I can be tired, dead-tired or not tired at all it will take at least 10 minutes before I can really fall asleep. First of all I've got tinnitus, nothing major but still, then when I shut my eyes. That is when my brain truly starts to work, I think I can work out quantum phsysics when I'm trying to fall asleep. It's jsut crazy how much goes on in my mind at these times, I can work out math sums, speeches, plans for a whole month, project ideas land ike everything!
I've figured that I think too much when I'm about to sleep and that's why I can't fall asleep, but I try to stop thinking. IT DOES NOT WORK. Whatever I do I will start thinking about something, anything!
But worst is when I'm really really tired and it's one of those days I just have so much to think about (unconsciously). I can feel that my eyes are tired , they're dried but because of the thinking it makes me eventually not tired.

I hate this, I go around with hideous dark rings around my eyes the whole year, why did you think I keep having glasses? XD

Tip anyone?

We care this x-mas, part 1

Trees are overrated=Air is overrated

I think this x-mas should be the x-mas that we'll show the world that we care, for real. These are two, among many other, beautiful giftcards you can buy for the people you care about and with it comes a tree.

I hope you all know that trees are not just something fancy to look at in parks. They give oxygen, reduces carbondioxide, prevent deserts of spreading, a natural shadow and more. We have trees and we should be glad, greater parts of Africa for example are not as lucky.
When you buy these giftcards you are guaranteed one tree in Africa by the Lake Victoria.

So for only 20 SEK you can purchase; one tree, one giftcard, one beautiful thought and joy for the soul and earth.

Go and get your tree at: http://www.viskogen.se/default.aspx?ID=318 (Swedish website)

Trees are not forever, that is why I care this x-mas

We are the kids of the future

Haya, I got my school today. I almost forgot that we were dressed out. We know that you don't get our theme, almost we don't get it, but it was a fun thing. So here you got the the photo, I've blurred everyone out but if you get offeneded just tell me.

Yeah, that's right SPEU3 rox your sox.

I finally put up a new poll. I got the idea from our English class today. We were talking about time capsules and what you would put in, if there were one to put it in. And the far best idea I came up with was this: a polar bear plushie, teddy bear and a note with which said: The polarbears are not a myth.
I think time capsules actually are quite interesting, wouldn't it be dead cool if you were to dig up a time capsule and find out what's in it. So this idea started to grow in me, what I made some box (of future) and put stuff from my childhood (what is left), pictures, letters and stuff. Then I'd hide it away (make sure not to throw it away when I move) and can not open it until I turn, lets say, 50. Haha, that would be awesome.

So please vote on the poll and write to me if there's something else you think is more significant! We might start a revolution! No jk, I just finished uploading the new Heroes episode so I'm gonna go watch it. Bye.

What about having a December treat of the day? Yesterday was the video, today the photo. Let's say it's x-mas presents for all my awesome readers. :) Have fun!

Joy to the world and a preview :)

Haya guys it's the 1st December! Which means this is the last time I'll change another page in my 2008 Heroes calender before getting a new one. And that it's only 23 days left until X-mas eve, muhuhuhu! (told you I was in the x-mas mood) It all make me wanna breakout in "Joyful Kings", hö hö. XD

It feels like I haven't blogged for real in a long time, sry :(. I WILL but I just have a lot in school right now.
But hey to make it up to you I made an exclusive preview of a new song I just learnt on the guitar, just you know to keep you up to date ;) I started to learn the chords for this song the last days in Edinburgh so I still get things wrong, like that stupid Dm chord. But don't worry it'll be better when I make the proper video soon..........
Not just that, vidoes such as Goodnight and Goodbye, Hello Beautiful and A Little Bit Longer is JUST a matter of days away. Keep checking my channel! :)

Nouveau Layout

NEW LAYOUT! I've thought of changing for a while but been so lazy. XD I thought of having a seasonal layout, right in time for x-mas :D And don't forget to check out my new feature song! Makes me feel like x-mas already :)
I must say I'm into the x-mas mood right now. Can't believe it's only (?!) 3 weeks until schoolbreak, hohoho! I'm SOOOO ready for break and x-mas!

I've been constantly playing (singing) Disney Sing it, it makes my throat sore but I can't stop singing. XD Me and my sister have so much fun with Miley Cyrus "See you again", because she's so silly and it's so fun to make fun of her. XD "I got my sight set on you and I'm ready to aim..!"
The thing with singing TV games is that eventually you'll like songs you didn't before or haven't heard before. (positive and negative I must say). Like I've decided to check out Aly and Aj more and I keep having "Like Woah" in my head.

What's up with that anyway? Songs you absolutely didn't like when you first heard it but when you happen to listen to it 3-4 more times you start to think otherwise, hmmm this is not so bad after all. This song happened to me recently;

There are so much I want to blog about but I have so much to catch up on, like playing the guitar and upload new vids. :D:D

Kid back in the future

That's right I'm back in the future. One hour into the future....

In one way this trip has passed incredibly fast, I remember like yesterday when we came to the apratment for the first time, but then I must admit that during the second week it felt like we've been there forever.
But now I'm back and I feel like I've grown, literally the ceiling was so high in that aprtment that I felt like a giant when I came stepped into ours. XD But I've experienced how to save money on food, how to cook on a gas oven, how to cook for myself and others and so on. Experiences people need if they want to live on their own one day.

It was still a bit snow when I came back and the cold is something else, down here. XD I ate (good food!) and then unpacked my 21kg suitcase, but at that time only 18kg because I had to unpack some stuff at the airport because they wouldn't let me have this one single kg too much! I had actually bought quite much stuff; CDs, DVDs, clothes, calenders, souvenirs, shoes, accessories and more, how will I afford x-mas this year?!
Me and my sister couldn't resist playing my new bought Wii game "Disney Sing It" (with Camp Rock's Play My Music!) 11 o'clock in the evening. It was awesome! There are like only 3 songs we sing in the game; This is Me, Gotta find you and Play my music from Camp Rock. Haha, still it's much awesome.
Most of all, I've figured by now, I've missed singing out loud and wearing skirts. And my guitar is so wonderful!!! :')

We didn't have classes today and I went to the university fair thing in town. I'm glad I had looked up information before I went because then I knew where to go and where to not waste my time. And I could better get the information I wanted when I asked. I didn't even realized that I've been there for almost 3 hours after I've done asking at the stands which I was interested in. Oh my!
I'm a person with a goal now! YES! XD Right now the future seems to take me to either: London, Kalmar, Jönköping or Borås.
OH YEAH!

Goodbye, Edinburgh

Monday, 24 November 2008

We will work this out! [edited]

All hail the Jonas Brothers!

Jonas Brothers won the Breakthrough Artist award at the American Music awards last night! Woohoo!
We finally did it right (in your face Paramore XD), I knew we could do it!! I'd like to give a high five to all the loyal fans out there and expecially thanks for YOUR votes. :)
They also did a performance at the awards, playing "Tonight". I'm glad they did something new, Lovebug wouldn't quite fit he AMAS. XD Here is the performance anyway:

[edited] WATCH also the amazing moment when they won the award, presented by Ashley Tisdale (made mistakes several times XD). Haha, it seems though the thank you speech was a bit improvised from the boys.

Okej guys, it's the last whole day in Edinburgh now. I have to finish packing, which btw is very hard because i've bought so much and my suitcase is far to small. I still have to buy that "Pushing Daisies" DVD box, so Good Luck for me. XD

See Ya !

Don't forget.

Why is it so hard?

Something quite peculiar happened to me yesterday. Well something that shouldn't be strange , but sure is for some people, people like me.

I was talking to a friend of mine on MSN Messenger, or friend? What do you call us?
I don't know why but it feels like we don't have a mutual (tyda.se) friendship. Is it because of the age difference? I've never seen her as so much younger than me, as she actually is. Because she is like the coolest kid I know and we share so many interests together. It might sound odd and it is a bit odd but I love hanging with her and we always come up with crazy things to do, but it seems like there's this constant wall between us. Maybe we both feel a bit awkward because of the age difference or maybe it's all in my head. But why do I feel like I can never get to her, it's like she won't let me. And it seems to me that between her and my (younger) sister things are great, was it easier to accept her?

I've been thinking that, well maybe this is just the way it is. People stay with people in their own age or else it seems weird or even wrong. So hey, stop thinking about the friendship that could have been great. Forget it...

And yesterday I guess I just got annoyed by the way she usually acts; play-ful, open minded and silly. Everything I wish I could be. I snapped. I told her I thought it was annoying her being that way and I tried to be so grown-up and tell her off. I don't know how she really reacted to that but I guess she was crossed, angry. And I felt that she had no right in the world to be cross because I am the one who should be crossed, she was being a baby. And that was the one time I really thought of her in her being younger and being immature.

After a while I figured what a pig-head I've been. And for once in a very long time I felt genuinly sorry for what I've done. I don't regret of what I did, because it really made me realize that it is not so hard to forgive and hope that the other person does the same. It is not that hard..

Why am I always like this? I act like a jerk with people that curious enough likes to be with me. I always do this, notice a person's flaws and keep thinking of that person with that flaw(s). I guess it makes me feel....stronger. It feels like I have that person all figured out and that I'm the one who knows everything.
This is how I destroyed a great friendship in 6th grade and wasn't even aware of it. And I regret it until this very day.....

Don't forget, to forget.

Look at a tree (while it lasts...)

Look who I saw on TV today.. ;)
This was on the Brittish MTV (TMF which stands for..?), today. A hitlist by the Jonas boys :) "Jonas Brothers' We are family: Top 10". Most definitely awesome! Too bad they didn't rank themselves more, he he he. XD They didn't do much, sat on the sofa presenting all the songs (reading rolling text that is..) but that was all they had to do to make my day! :)

This was the list:
10. Mmbop-Hanson
9. Potential Break-up song-Aly and AJ
8. Pure Shores-All Saints
7. I believe in a thing called love-The Darkness
6. Changes-Kelly and Ozzy Osbourne
5. Anything-3T
4. Don't look back at anger-Oasis
3. Teenager-My Chemical Romance
2. I want you back-Jackson 5
1. Burnin' Up-Jonas Brothers

And then they played Lovebug ! (L O V E !) Awesome! I've seen it total 3 times (on tv) now in Edinburgh and yet hoping to see more before I go home. :P

I also went to the "Royal Botanic Garden" by myself today, (mähähä) to look at some trees. I went mostly because I needed a walk but I've also seen some pictures of it and it was quite nice. So I took the map and I were off, gladly it wasn't as far as i thought. There I was woundering around taking pictures, enjoying life and nature and eating raisins. It was really relaxing and nice.
Oh and plus, I heard some random wannabe goth girl suddenly burst out in singing "Scream". How awesome isn't that? XD I didn't realize which song she sang until I'd passed her and couldn't join her song, it would have been fun! :P
Toodles!

Vote and Photos

And btw, me and Kajsa went to the Scottish Parliament yesterday. Wouldn't you like to hang these in your tree?
Joy to the world!

Come on guys, this is the last day now!!

Let me tell you something..

Joooyyy to the woorrld....

There are some things you need to know about Englishmen (or maybe Scots) in general. It might sound like stereotyping, and probablywill, but see for yourself ;)

1. They L O V E Christmas.
Or they most certainly prepare for it early enough. When we arrived the 5th of November, I thought we've somehow moved into the future, is it Christmas eve already? All the shopping windows were full of glitter, presents, "Give someone something special this x-mas" signs. But I didn't thought more about that, maybe it's just the stores that want to attract tourists or something. Not more than 2 days later (7th Nov. that is), we step into Starbucks. What music do we hear? Christmas carols, of course! (Oh, we just forgot it was only more than a month until x-mas!) It was "Iiii'm dreeeeaaaming of a whiiiite christmas" on high and all the employees ran around in santa hats! Plus, if you haven't noticed on my previous photo the Starbuck cups are all christmasy red and stuff.
Can you then imagen me sitting and studying two days in a row in Starbucks, I feakin' knew all the christmas songs in the world after that! :P

That's not even the worst part. Exactly 4 days after, Didrik and I walk around in town and suddenly stands face to face with this building (photo 1). Not only does it make you feel like you've come to Santa's house but they also had this artificial snow coming down from the roof. So when we passed the building flakes of foam fell down on us. I'm not kidding, FOAM SNOW! (How desperate can you get..)
I'm sorry I don't have photos to prove this but, believe me in true. I've counted up to more than 5 stores that even from outside looks like they ONLY sell christmas stuff. It's like Santas workshop exploded all over their shop window. There are ornaments, cards, tea, cookies, gifts, food, towels, curtains and the list will go on forever, how much does these people need? And it wouldn't surprise me if those shops were closed during the rest of the year, they looked authentic!
Okej to make a long story short (short?!), there are christmas everywhere you turn. You can run but you can't hide.

2. They can't drive
Well most of you must know that they drive on the other side of the road here, right-hand traffic. It's like the Englishmen feel they are not special enough if they drive on the right (correct!) side of the road...like what? XD But that's kinda okej when you get used to it, only their whole system is messed up!
Let's say you and your friend are walking on a street and a crossing comes up. There are cars that wants to pass from the right-hand side. Your friend walks about 1 metre before you, passes before the car a couple metres before it passes the crossing. Evidently the driver sees you as you want to cross a half second later but does he let you? If your in Sweden of course but if you're here the driver will floor the gas and you have to quickly jump left and back if you still want to live. And this have happened to me let's say more than once. NOTE: drivers are crazy.

About their redlights. They don't have a system for those! First you'll push the button so that W A I T lights up, then you'll wait. The cars will stop because they have red light too. But why do you still stand still before the crossing? Because it's not green! (and we've learned not to cross just like that!) You wait, the drivers wait.... Sometimes both of you will wait for so long that you'll burst into laughter, like what the hell are we waiting for?!
Then like in a zillions years you'll hear this deafening peeping sound that indicates "Walk fast, idiot" because you only have 3 seconds to pass.

3. They love Hannah Montana more than Miley Cyrus love herself
Not only that I despise her so much and thinks she's pathetic but she has to be all up my face too. You will not believe all the stuff they have of Hannah Montana here. Say one thing, ONE THING (object) that comes into your mind and I can almost swear that there is a Hannah Montana verision of it here.
It doesn't matter if you're in the clothes store, bookstore, grocery store or whatever store, she will be there! You maybe think well there are pretty much Hannah Montana stuff in Sweden too. NO, believe me. Even if you walk into some random-arabic-1 pound-store you'll find her on something. Like this:
This was like the shabbiest, most untidy, "pound stretcher" shop I've ever been into, even they will provide you with products to quench you Hannah thirst.
Or why not wait for christmas with your very own Hannah Montana chocolate calender?!

A piece of Hannah anyone?

You will see mothers carry around Hannah Montana backpacks! (Mostly for their 3 year old girl but anyway) I've seen Hannah Montana TV's, underwear, barbie dolls, christmas cards, balloons, whatever object that can have a theme have Hannah Montana. I'm sure they'll sell Hannah Montana cakes and rice soon. Just you watch!

4. What they'll ever do is queue
Random question, what do englishmen do? Answer queue you'll have 90% of it covered. Whatever they do is to queue. You will not find ONE single (bigger) store that doesn't have a organized area for queueing, there might be fancy bands with a "Queue starts here" sign or shelfs with with their products and a sign that says "Please wait here". Even their busstops and bus shelters are built in a way that forces people to stand in a line. Like come on! XD

This is one day, to a regular play:
Really this is only the beginning of the queue. When we first saw them I swear I thought they were giving away free food or something. This queue was insane!

This was a long post, obviously. I'm all tired just wiritng it. Gonna sleep. KEEP VOTING: http://abc.go.com/primetime/ama/index?pn=tmobilevote :)

Pre-Post :)

Keep pushing the f5 button! I'll know on Sunday if you did... *threatful*

Poll, Song and the Starbuck

Good news, people, good news! I'm done with my novell! (Congrats Manda ;) I must add things and names I didn't at the time but I'm done! (Have to type it on the computer too but yeah..)
The photo is me writing the last part at Starbuck with my Very berry scone :P If I keep studying at Starbucks it will be very much expensive, so I' glad I'm done with the novell :P
Now I just have the religion presentation, french book, math, psychology pages, my lines for my acting lessons to study. No match.......not at all. XD

About the Poll; I must say I'm quite sad that there's not more people that participate in them XD But yeah I'm glad there are at least 8 people that does :) I think I must do better questions :P
I actually thought more people would vote the non Jonas songs for me to learn but I guess that's a good thing for me. Most of you liked "Play My Music", it's not a very easy song to sing but I'll do my best I swear. I'm on my way to learn the interact thing (bridge) for Lovebug and I really want to learn "A Lonely September" by Plain White T's too. I'll be much glad to come home to my guitar. I didn't think guitar could be worse than mine, but evidently there are, like the one in this apartment. Old like a cryptkeeper. XD

And then there was about my new feature song, I don't think any of you listened to my old one but. XD This is the 30 sec. preview of the real studio verision of Jonas Brothers song "Move On". The song in studio verision is impossible to get and I'm getting so anxious the mroe I lsiten to the preview because I love it so much. This is absolutely the song I want the most to end on one of the albums even more than Eternity and Kung Fu Grip.

Look here comes the sun, but it was freakin' much wind today :P

SUPERcalifragilisticexpialidocious

HAYA! The days are getting less and less here in Edinburgh, now it's exactly one week left.

Me and the girls went to the theatre yesterday evening. We saw Mary Poppins, the musical. It's not like it's something I always wanted to se but this musical totally blew me away. First off we got a reduced price because we were "students" (even though I hadn't my studentcard, quick look at my ID sure made it :P) and got good seats.
I didn't know what to expect really, I've seen the movie though (long time ago). I fell in love in the very first second seeing the absolutely stunning set and the two children who played Jane and Michael Banks were simply adorable (quite talented for that matter). The boy, who plays Michael, couldn't be more than 9 years old and had this amazing (British) voice and acting skills. It just really hit me that this is how Nick started out, on broadway, on the scene. :)

Maybe I haven't been to much musicals but the set of this play was incredible! The house, the bank, the street that came forward and all the sliding furnitures- AHmazing!
There were not one dull second of the show, eitehr I was blown away by the colourful and great costumes, the stunning singing and dance performances or the childrens' acting.

It's so much more alive when it's musical (than movie) and it feels almost for real. There were also thiings in the play I really liked that is not in the movie. Like "Mary+Bert=true" part of the story and when Nanny Andrew's comes. You just get carried away watching it and I'm not ashamed to say I burst into tears more than once. I couldn't help smiling and feel happy during the play, it touches you in that way.

You don't have to be a child or a Mary Poppins fan to adore this play. It's practically perfect ;)

FYI, I've had "Chim chim cher-ee" in my head the whole day :P

Something I had to buy to remember my awesome time (cost a fortune but so worth it)

Otherwise I've been in town today. Studying in Starbucks and strolling around, quite nice actually :)

Why people drink out

Hello to you all early risers out there (early...?XD). Long time no see.
I haven't been up to much lately mostly done homework (writing that stinckin' novel of mine) and we also went out one night, last saturday. (two days ago)

Here you got a photo of the Elephant house btw. It's a café here in Edinburgh, quite famous. If I saw Harry Potter does it ring any bells? XD Okej anyway, JK Rowling was said to sit right in this very café when the idea of Harry Potter was born. The café has taken this as a major publicity stunt (there are articles and stuff everywhere XD). The café was really nice, crowded though, but nice.

About Saturday, we went out this youth place called Lava Ignite (which by the way no one here calls it, it has millions of nicknames) to celebrate one of our friend's 18th B-day. I got myself pumped up with listening to Jonas Brothers on loud (the others did not...:P). The taxi ride there got quite expensive because I forgot my ID and we had to go back (WHAT?! XD).

I know why people drink so much at these places now, it's because they can go out and dance, even if they can't, and don't care that they embarrass themselves (because they think no one sees them XD). Me personally had a great time on the dancefloor observing those drunk people dancing away. XD
I msut say the music on the place wasn't really great. They had dance or remixed current songs, so even when they had normal songs it sound like dance beacuse of the remix. XD But of course there were some good songs to dance to. Like Pussycat Dolls' "When I grow up" and SouljaBoy's "Crank that". Haha when Soulja boy came up it just cracked me up and I just had to dance. XD Man, Crank that forever ! ;)

Then of course I lost my ticket for the wardrobe and they just "couldn't find" my brown, H&M, with pink lines, size 40 jacket. They told me to come back tomorrow which resulted that I walked in a t-shirt a half mile to the taxi. Freezing, I could borrow Didriks jacket though so it was fine. I called them first thing in the morning and told me to come around 9 and 10 (evening) to get it. So there I was, wandereing around the whole day thinking that they might have lost my jacket somehow, or given to someone else, or no it's a cheap H&M jacket who wants that, or don't worry it's going to be there. It didn't help either when Kajsa said; what if you can't get your jacket back and stuff. Like thanks! XD

I had to really buckle up with clothes when I started my long journey to the club (about 2-3 km from our apartment) in the dark. First I turned off in the wrong street and I thought that what else in the wold could wrong, luckily I went back and finally found it. I recognized one of the girls standing outside smoking from yesterday and told her how everything was. She told me to wait before she finish smoking so she could get someone to find the jacket for me, and she did. I had to describe the jacket for the 1000nd time. Those dreadful 5 minutes waiting outside, I just mademyself not think about what would happen next. Then another girl came out and she had my jacket. Thank you! And so my journey back begun and nothing much dramatic happend.

Calling all Jonas Supporters, it's American Music Awards this Sunday and the boys are nominated for Breakthrough Artist. Let's get them winning (not second place) this time!
