Nostalgic much?!

Hey there, being a serious blogger and all that, huhu. Actually sitting here and listening to Radio Disney (!!) and killing some time before the Jonas Brothers are on again.
Yeah it was pretty weird. My friend taught me how to listen to radio stations on iTunes last week, I was like oohh cool, I always wanted to listen to radio disney. But I never really tried it after that, it just came into my mind like an hour ago and what do I hear?! Yeah, the Jonas Borthers were coming to the station! Hohoho I mean what are the odds? This is SO cool! XD I'm taping it on my sister's cellphone.

I've never heard them live so this is really something!
This week have been kinda cool, no school on monday, then my b-day and then not much in school but then our school is under construction and stuff. We had to get new lockers and all new classrooms. Finding them all were a bit hard. XD Then we got some classrooms we the first year, nostalgic much?!?! Huhuhu especially the classroom were we had nature-science so many horrible memories....XD

Now I jsut ahve to finish Le Petit Prince and Shakepseare's Hamlet...uuhh a lot to read. Besides that I'm also reading Paranoid Park by Blake Nelson, it's the book the movie with the same name. It seemed very interessting and exciting at first with the murder and no witness and all that. In the end reading it it's more like just any teenage drama book.

(I don't have any pics here yet so I'll have these for now....bare with me..XD)

Official old people now

Haya, I'm now a qualified blogger, I have a laptop!! Huhuhu. XD Today is my B-day and it has been wonderful (most of it). I woke up and the snow is a decimeter high outside but still that didn't get my mood down. This is a special day let's make it that way too.
I don't I'll ever gotten so many B-day wishes in my life, but thanks! It's warming. :D

Appearantly I've missed loads of stuff not being online for 2 days. Like tons of pics from Camp Rock and their performance on Dancing with the stars. I've caught up now anyway. Feels like I know exactly what's going to happen in Camp Rock now, seems like a typical child going on teenage movie. But I absolutely don't care, Nick, Joe and Kevin is it! I'd watch any crappy movie anytime for them...XD

My laptop: :D

Now or never!

I'll write it now or else I will never do it. Yeah another schoolbreak is over and it's sad as ever but my (real) Birthday is coming up so I'm glad for that. :D ONE more day and I'll be as old as Joe! MUAHHAHA! XD Can't wait!

So yesterday (24/3) I had a little "celebration" to my 18th B-day and invited some friends, which I haven't done since I was 10 years old or something. I thought this was it or I'll never do it again. XD But I was turning 18 so I thought I could use some celebration. Hohoho. I've been walking around and planning all of it for quite some time now but never really I would make it. I'm glad I did make it.
I sent out the invitations (handmade), very old-school but that's the way we roll. ;) In the end there were 8 people coming. (which is a bit much for our tiny appartment nut anyway..)

It started out with a modern style of the "Scavenger hunt", instead of finding things and carrying them they had to find and take pictures (with digitalcamera) of things. Well I came up with the idea the week just before schoolbreak and the sun was still shining. The weather was disastrous and a occasional snowstorm struck by.
We came home to my place, after a crazy jammed busride, and made pizza. That was real fun! Then we off course made a mess in the kitchen which my (younger) brother and sister had to clean up. They were totally my heroes that day!
Then it was time for viewing the pictures that was taken earlier. Started with the first team which had a lot of pictures even with themselves it them. Funniest was this picture with them and 2 emo girls. Hohoho. The other team had a lot of funny pictures too and even found one thing with the highest points. My and my sister sat down then and counted the final score, turned out the first team had won. CONGRATS for you guys!
Afterwards it was Presents time (!!). My friends are really amazing they bought exactly what I wanted to have! (Maybe because I've listed all the things here but still!) It was outrageous I even got JB stuff and I totally cried! Hahaaa. Thank you SO MUCH! *tear in the eye*
We then ate cake and sang , yes it was really old-school! Then I did some live performance by playing "Please be mine" and "SOS", hoho SOS was a disaster but in general it went pretty well.

Then it was Goodnight adn Goodbye, let's clean up this mess! XD Huhu, I just wanna thank everyone again and hope you a great time which I had! :D

Picture of the day: The MAX tiger, I hope they get paid for that!(Small picture for respecting personal integrity XD)

Joe, take my banana!

Aaaahhhhhh I'm SOOOO HAPPY! :D Okej, I know I'm a really silly fangirl. But I DDOONNNNN'T CCAARREEE....laa laa la lala. :D Jonas Brothers make me soooo happy! It's absolutely indescribable! And I can't really let myself think of this summer, because then I'll just explode. Huhu...it takes a crazy fan to know a crazy fan. XD
Why this sudden crazy stage? Well, I was goofing off with my friends and sister yesterday, wacthing the S.O.S video and mimicing. I didn't realize how long ago it was since I actually listened to S.O.S and the video is just......so wonderful I may just cry! It was all crazy, then we started to edit the videos in this movie maker program and it turned out to kick ass. XD No it's a really good video interpretation of S.O.S , huhuhuh. (Loads of crap, I know, I'm just not in this world right now XD

Anyway and today I saw the videos of their concert in a Stripped performance, acoustic no crazy fan screams. It was just so great, they played A Little bit longer, Take on me and some more. When I first saw A little bit longer, I just burst out in tears. I don't know really why, but this is just the way you get from being so crazy over something.....
Then I also found a myspace page where you could download these verisions and that just made my day! WIIEEEE, hope you don't think I'm too out of it..XD

SOOOOOOOOOOOO, this Sunday it was this GREAT wonderful spring weather and I was so happy. I even made my brother ride the bike with me to the mall. I even had my springcoat because it was warm enough. I had planned to go out again the next day with my friend and I really wanted to take the bike out again.
Monday morning I wake up, the sun is out and I'm like YYESS! Then after breakfast, WHAT DO I SEE? Snow? No this is not hapening! YES IT WAS SNOWING!! WHAT the hell?!?! Snowing in the middle of March?! This is mad! I was totally crushed.
That's not enough, you maybe think it just snowed a little then it melted but NO. It turned into a SNOWSTORM. I got out just because I had to return a book to the library. It was DREADFUL! I came to the Library and wishing that I would not have to go out ever again, but off course I had to. I canceled our "meeting" and played guitar for the rest for the day.
Snow is just making me pissed off, right now!

Bang Bang shoot 'em up, Yeah!

Hoho, found loads of new pics from Narina; Prince Caspian. Check them out here: http://spoilertv-movies.blogspot.com/2008/03/exclusive-chronicles-of-narnia-prince.htmlI I'm just gonna load up some of my faves ;)

Just besides, I've been learning "With Me" by Sum 41. YEAY :D I hope I can get the strumming sorted out soon. I've been singing it the wholeday, so my thorat is really soar right now. XD And by wonder I still don't know the lyrics yet! AAHHH!

I've been wasting loads of time on watching Youtube vids, which is an activity when the time pass insanely fast. Huhu, like the Joans Brothers on a Soap Opera (AH, I've seen it like 8 times in a row now XD); http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRtWcVJckvw Demi, ftw!!
And finally took the time to watch Selenas and Demi's vlogs, they are such nerds. XD Also my friend has a youtube account and uploads videos where she plays the piano, covers of songs. She is really brillant, check her out on: http://www.youtube.com/user/th3rese , I recommend "When you look me in the eyes-Jonas Brothers"

The City Is At War! [edited]

Guash I'm totally addicted to that song! The city is at war by Cobra Starship, I think I can live on only that song and on sunshine. Huhuhu..
I was surprised to see that they sold the Corba Starship CD(Viva la Cobra) here in Sweden, didn't know they were this big. I mean you can't buy JB cds here...YET!
So that is a big "WANT" for my B-day.

YES, my 18th B-Day is coming up a little more than a week. Huhuh, I feel so old!! Funny thing, I've been really against turning 18 ever since I turned 17. I didn't want to grow up! The whole adult thing is just too complex and frightens me. It was like Neverland all over again.
Anyway, I think I've matured alot these last days. I'm really confident of doing this adult thing, I think I'll be just fine. ;)
Hoho, just for some egocentric kicks..XD
List of things I'd love to have for my B-Day:
WHATEVER Jonas Brother thing (you I'll just die of happiness)
A laptop
A shoulder-bag-purse
A new cellphone
(oh when will it be sidekick and me?)
CDs (P!ATD, Cobra Starship)
Movies (Hairspray, Kikis delivery service, Stardust)
A backpack (for school)
A new iPod (just for egocentric kicks you know)
Books (detective novels like Agatha Christie)
Manga
Hairstuff (hairpins, diadem yeah you know hairstuff!)
The Ugly Betty season 1 dvdbox
Jonas Sunglasses (you knooowww.....)
A new bike (a cruiser?)

There are like 1000 stuff I want so it's hard to not get something I'll like. ;)

something about a book and trolls

Uuuhh, the weather these last days have been really depressing. It have been raining really hard these days, I want sun!! Especially now when I'm on easter break! Wiiee .
Ho ho, apparently I said I'd write a short blog last time, I lied. XD

Today I went and saw: the Spiderwick cronicles. On the premiere day, yup. In the begining when they annouced that they'll movie adapt it, I was really psyched! I'm (was) a huge fan of the books but that was 3 years ago! Seriously it has taken them record long to film this movie so with that my interesst faded. Then when the trailer came up last year I was like: Oh so they MADE a movie after all! XD I wasn't all that psyched and just now some days before seeing it I almost didn't have any interesst in seeing it, I was certain that it would be a crappy movie. I really don't like Freddie Highmore..
Anyway, the PR for this movie has been MINIMAL! I'm not wrong to say that there almost wasn't any except for the trailer running on the TV this week. There haven't anything in the newspapers, nothing from the cinema nothing. I've been checking up the cinemas website, seeing if I could book tickets, nope nothing.
So yesterday after school I went to the cinema, not really sure if they sold tickets yet but they did. It surprised me that they were showing it in like the smallest lougne (?) in the entire cinema and that all the good seats were already taken. That kinda pissed me off. XD

Tiffany! Get to the movie!! XD Okej, since I got kinda crappy seats, I was really negative towards the movie from the very beginning. I was really doubtful about Freddie playing the both part, Simon and Jared. I was right in feeling that, the first scenes with Jared and Simon was not well done. I also disliked the funny accent Freddie has in this movie, you can really hear that he's from Britain trying to talk american english. Sara Bolger(Mallory) on the other hand gets the accent perfectly. What can I say?
They changed alot, off course, the whole fourth book wasn't in it which is my favourite. The whole new situation with their house was however pretty good, I liked it. And the whole fifth book is all moved from Mulgaraths castle to their house, which I think took alot of excitement away. There were off course a lot more action in it, even with mum! XD I knew soemthing was wrong there, she's not supposed to be there! XD
All in all I think it's ok movie, it's a good movie in itself but not good as a interpretation of the books. I wouldn't recommend it to fantasy movie lovers, only the younger ones then but to those who like Narnia and the Golden compass.

Meeting the Prettyface, again

Haya, haven't written for a while now. The school stuff simply never ends but it's easterbreak soon and I promise to write more and maybe even post a new video. ;)
If you've missed my little video-guitar-singing breakthrough, view it here: http://thatmandy.blogspot.com/2008/03/littleb-it-longer-cover-by-me.html please comment, contructive critic and stuff!

So this will just be a quick one. My week-end have been unusally eventful, first on Saturday I have my little job thing going on (XD), then I read some chinese with my mum.

Yes let's take the story now. I've quit chinese class! XD The whole thing was really crappy and my parents finally realized that they didn't really learn us anything, so they made the whole situation as optional. The thing is I've waited really long for this to come, I've been talking about quitting after I've turn 18 but never really like knowing it for sure.
Then when my parents made it optional I was really doubtful, I've been longing for this but when it really happend I didn't know if I wanted to quit. Funny thing, huh?
Anyway me and my mum made an agreement that I'll read chinese with her an hour/per or so, because I really do want to know chinese!
Having all this frre time on saturdays it's really weird almost a bit uncomfortable for me, it's so not normal, I've been reading chinese on saturdays afternoon ever since I was 5 years old so I mean...

Let's go back to my week-end. Yeah Then I learnt a new song on the guitar! Inseparable! I haven't figured out the strumming yet but I'll work it out. I'm really happy though. :D
My friend turned 18 this tuesday so she was having a little get together, with her family and relatives and such. It was really great! It's kinda amazing how I get along with all of them. They remind me very much of the Robinsons which makes the whole thing a bit more funny. XD

I was really stressed out sunday morning. I were going to play at this big concert. I first had to write my blog to my school's internet magazine thing, maybe you don't know me well but it takes hours (!) for me to write a blogentry. XD So I was totally stressed out with that, then I had to wash my hair, do my hair, find clothes (we only wear black and white at concerts) and prepare for everything. Then I read my mail, what do I have?! My acting teacher had sent me a mail, don't forget we have practice today! I've totally forgot!! But luckily the schedules fitted perfectly.
First I'll have a soundcheck rehersal at the concert hall 2 o'clock, then we won't have anything until the actual concert which begins at 6 o'clock. So after 3 o'clock I almost ran over to acting class (which luckily is very close) and had some practice there until 5 o'clock. Then I run back to the concert hall and get dressed and tune my violin, phew!
The actual concert went very well and a lot of people I knew were there. Kajsa thank you so much for coming! :D:D

Then off course, you meet someone. Right, prettyface?

Welcome to Pretty Odd

Hohoho, looks like I've got some spare time after all. You just have to plan your work and time well.

I've just remembered to watch "Nine in the afternoon" the video, guashh it just struck me, how much actually love Panic!at the Disco. That is a band who KNOWS how to make a fantastic music video. It's really incredible. If you haven't seen in, see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCto3PCn8wo&feature=user
Apperrantly their new album, Pretty Odd, is releasing the 25th March! I hope for Sweden too! Just checked cdon.se it says 26th March, MY B-DAAAYY! What an awesome coincidence, YYEES! XD

Had another meet and greet, no just kidding but another meet with a couple of Japanese student on some trip to Sweden. Well I'm lying about a "couple", because everytime I'm actually there there seem to be 1000's of them! XD
But this time was a bit different, we were going to in Lund this time (another city) and we had a bus taking us there. What we DIDN'T know was that, that bus was the Japaneses bus and we were going to pick them up from a shopping centre nearby and then going on to Lund. Isn't it hard enough trying to mingle with Japanese people in a language you hardly know anything else than "Wakarimasen" (which means I don't understand) in a open space like a hotel? But now on a bus?! XD It was disastrous, the teachers made us sit one by one with a Japanese student. Hohho, it was all YEAH let's communicate! (not...) I tried my best, it would have helped if she asked me some questions in return though! (humph!)
Anyway then we came to the university of Lund and we got together with the university students there. We got into this greeting room with snacks and stuff, we had to take some paper with a number on it choosing the place you're going to sit on, I was pretty much AAAAHHHHHh! the whole time, but luckily my frind got the number just nest to me so it was better.
Then the university students started to introduce themselves, ON EXPERT LEVEL japanese! My jaw totally dropped. Okej, after all the 20 students or something the high school students had to intrduce themselves too!!

I'm sitting there thinking that I've not used Japanese on the whole school break neither the last week, and now?! felt like I didn't know any Japanese anymore...
Ehm ehm......Hajime mashite, Tiffany desu. Totally kindergarden language...XD

CUU-RAAY-ZEE-NESS

I don't actually have time to write so this'll be a quick one.

IT IS CRAZY how people have responded to my video, I'm the type of person who really don't know how to handle compliments, since I don't get them much (he-he.....>.>). But I absolutely love it, it's like the most wonderful thing ever. You guys can not imagen how happy you've made this girl! I'll be walking on clouds the whole week. :D I think I'll start crying here, I don't care whether you mean it or not, I appreciate it so much! :') THANK YOU SO MUCH! DÔMO ARIGATÔ GOZAIMASU! *bows*

There have finally been a confirment on JB playing in Sweden and Copenhagen, and I've running aroung crazy at home. They're going to be the support band to the Avril Lavigne's concerts!! (AAAH! You can not imagen my screaming XD).
So since I live 5 hours closer to Copenhagen than Stockholm, I've (first) bought tickets to the Copenhagen show!!!! NO I can't believe it either. They totally cost a fortune and kinda ruined my family's whole vacation but it really doesn't bother me much. XD
THIS IS CRAZY! :') I may seem very calm about it right now, I am not. I AM TOTALLY CRAZY over here. XD

I've got tons of stuff to do for school also. Our french teacher just got some crazy idea to give us 50 new words to have test over 3 days. Europeknowledge homework, economics homework, new speech!, finishing Swedish assignment and read the first act of Hamlet. And yeah this is just 2 days passing of this week.
Here picture of the day:

Picture of my favourite brothers :D

A little bit longer, a cover by me

Haya, I've finally decided to put up a video, it has not been an easy decission I tell you. XD
Anyway, it's me playing a cover of Jonas Brothers new song: A little bit longer. I have to remind you I haven't been playing the guitar for long, still learning but hope you can watch the video without bleeding from your ears or anything. XD

Enjoy!

Saturday 1 March 2008

Stuck under a rainycloud

Just made this icon, in the mood of doing more. Do you want an icon? Write me! :D

Finally, this hell of a schoolweek is over, first deathly sickness, then nerves getting wrecked before a new class and studying like a freak for 2 tests on the same day. But now it's over and I can can breath out. Two weeks left until next break, what makes me still uncomfortable is the Swedish assignment for next friday and the book review-essay-test in english.
We've also started with new subjects in the different classes, we read about economics (again) on civics, but we started the subject with a rather interessting "game".

So for this game each student had to be generous enough to invest 1 kr in the total fund. There were 5 envelopes, in each there were a little note saying either win or blank, only ONE of the note says win.
Then we're divided into 5 groups of 6-7 people, now starts the bidding. How much are you ready to pay for your group's envelope? Then we come up to a price, a equilibrium price.
There's however still a chance that you won't win, then you have to pay the price to the winner.
Our group started out with some small sums, then some high bids came and they kept getting bigger and bigger. We ended on a price of 80 kr, with a cooperation between two members.
Neither group got the same price for it's envelope, 3 kr, 50 kr, 80 kr, and 100kr was the prices. Then the moment everyone is waiting for came, opening fo the envelopes! DU DU DUUUN!
The person from the group with the price 50kr won. Hohoho feel bad for this girl who paid 100. XD
But all in all it was a innovative way of learining about supply-demand=equilibrium price.

Enough about economics, news of the WEEK: JONAS BROTHERS ARE COMING TO EUROPE!
Okej, I'll not give all the details, risking that the shows I wanna go to get sold out. Muahaha, no but it's like this. They're are going international, they're playing together with another well-known singer on it's tour world-wide.
There are not many confirms about where and which concert JB will play together with the singer, but if they'll come to Sweden I will just die of happiness! :D (Then off course I'll relive and go to the concert)

Just for kicks, picture fo the day:
Me having fun at my cousins pool.
