Cuddled with polar bears

HAYA I'm back from the cold with new experiences, frostbites and a bunch of great photos!
Luleå was plain awesome (ice coldness). It was laughingly cold (really, once it was so cold the only thing you could do was to laugh) but still so much fun. I experienced (most likely) the coldest temperature in my whole 18 year old life during these days, watched a horror flick (which I normally dislike), talked loads about JB XD, cooked, went to a handcraft fair (? hantverksmässa) with load of cool north Swedish stuff. (and got married in a church for that matter...right KP;))

I don't have time to write all about it right now because I have a french test tomorrow (which I'm sensing I'll fail) and I ahven't even started to pack for Edinburgh! Uuuggghhhh, strreeesssss. But I thought you'd get updated for a while anyway.

I've missed out so much and I will keep missing much, since I'm leaving (again!) in 2 days. To see some picture of our home for the three futur weeks: http://www.edinburgh-holiday-accommodation.co.uk/eha_property.php?pid=287&type=sc
And if you want a postcard á la Edinburgh from me, leave you adress on the comments ;)

No snowmen here...

I'm sorry I've been so boring these days, writing about borign stuff or not writing at all. :( These days have gone so fast, I can't even catch up. I've planned to do so much before going to Luleå, but things just wouldn't turn out my way...

I've been busy packing, doing laundry, cooking and studying today. Uugghh, I'm not cut out to be a housewife! (My back hurts! XD)

I'm having trouble packing, I don't know if you know but Luleå is (like) the city furthest north of Sweden and if you have prejudices about how cold it is in Sweden what about Luleå huh?! XD But I was like no, it's prejudices it's not that cold. But then I checked the weatherforecast today. What do I see, minus 4 degrees on Saturday?!!? Bring on the winterboots! XD

Btw, I also saw a small article about Jonas Brothers in a Swedish newspaper. It's about them making a new big screen movie called: "Walter the farting dog". Honestly it sound like something Joe would come up with, hehe. XD Frankie (Frankster!) will ablso be in it. They'll start shooting next spring.

About the past week's Poll, it was quite interesting results I must say..
Most Popular was "Heroes" with 6 watchers.
Second came "Gossip Girl" with 5 watchers (I used to watch it, then the cheesyness took over and I kept watching because of the fabulous clothes they wear XD)
"Deperate Housewives" had 4 watchers (never watched an episode in my life)
"Ugly Betty" and "Hannah Montana" comes in a shared 4th place (I put Hannah Montana just for the laugh but it looks like it wasn't for some...XD)
"Pushing Daisies" and "House" had 2 watchers (it's too bad so few watch Pushing Daisies, it's really an awesome show! :D)
Then we had left "Lost" and "30 Rock" (I really like 30 rock, it's hilarious. I really should make it a regular thing..)

So, I'll see you in 4 days. Vote on the new poll and we'll hope I won't freeze too much up there. XD

Last of High School Musical..or?

This is just gonna be a quick review of High School Musical 3; the senior year.

I must say I was a bit sceptic when I heard that the third movie was going to shown in the cinema. I could see the scenario clearly in front of me; the cinema being swamped with children and packs of giggling "fjortis" ("14-year olds", we need a word for that don't we?!) girls. All of them wearing High school musical t-shirts (at least the children) and singing the soundtrack or playing them on their cellphone (as for the fjortisar).
I mean High school 3 on cinema would be the greatest fjortis gathering in the history, not even arranged. XD

I must say that even though I think HSM is one of the most cheesy and childish movie of all time, there's still something utterly charming about it. The HSM movies are perfectly predicatable and shallow, the silliness just makes me laugh out loud. But on the other hand it feels good just for some moments to stop being so mature and just enjoy the lightly entertainment these movies offer.

Anyhow, I bought tickets (mostly because I hadn't went ot the cinemas for almost 2 months....right XD) and in the end it was me, my sister and 3 other friends from school who went. I didn't really care about my age or whatever anymore, I'm at least not 21 ! XD
I knew some of the songs and singing along was one of the best thing about the movie. (It's a musical all right?! You're supposed to sing!)

The movie neither impressed nor disappointed me. I mean sequels are in general really bad and imagen when you do a sequel of something that's already quite bad? I've seen the second HSM movie and thought that was just a bit worse than the first. That's why I was full prepared of something catastrophic but I must say it kept the HSM standard (with being quite good). In the movie I really liked how they transformed from "real life" to being in the musical and vice versa, skilled. The budget was way higher now, but quite unecessary according to me. I mean Sharpay's and Ryan's "I wan it all" was fab. but it would do without all the 1000 lights and signs. What about in Zac's "Scream" the revolving hallway, what the heck?! XD
I can never get enough of Zac's screams (pure awesomeness XD) and the song is no doubt the best on the whole soundtrack. You do not want to miss Zac's screaming in the end of the song, thefore I've been nice enough to upload the song onto this blog. Check it out! ;)

If you've been with HSM from the very beginning you should see this. Zac is just plain awesome :D

"I want my own dream, so bad I'm gonna scream !"

Swedish SAT

I'm so sorry for not writing for so long, this week before the school break, but now it's over and finally I'll have some time for myself before being busy again, which basically is this evening and some hours on wednesday or tuesday.

Let's review the nearest future shall we?
26/10-28/10-Tomorrow, I have to "work" (the crappiest job ever) then my friend is coming down from Helsingborg, and she's staying until Monday-Tuesday (I think)
28/10-On tuesday I have violin lesson, and btw I also have to study for my French test for after the break.
29/10-For Wednesday probably packing and studying.
30/10-2/10-Thursday, I'm flying to Luleå (like the absolute northest in Sweden...bbrrr), meeting friends I haven't met for so long! I'll stay until Sunday.
3/10-4/10-School and French Test :(
5/10- It's OFF TO EDINBURGH for 3 weeks :)

I appiled for the "Högskoleprovet" (the test in itself is much like SAT, it doesn't have the same function though), a while ago and finally did it today.UUuhhgg, the whole experience made me nauseas.
All he strict rules about everything (test time and even rulers), all the forms and papers to fill in (with tiiinnyy squares, geessh!), the answering form with all the werid text and colours (Ughh) and the test teacher whose this old and scary lady.
There also seemed like the place was swamped with older students/people that made me really intimidated. (I'm not cut out for university!! XD)

I could go on all night but that is less interesting. All in all, I think I did pretty well, better than I expected (my expectations were below low, fyi XD), so in other it's still not very good but okej. XD

Okej, this post sucked but I really wanna go and spend some time with my guitar now, before we ahve to seperate for 3 weeks...:'(

[llooovvee] Burnin' Up is showing on Disneychannel. It's also supposed to be shown quite frequently on the Swedish MTV. Tell me if you catch it ;)

- Jonas Brothers burnin' up the whole world...
