Rise of an Emo generation

Hohoho, I didn't die! XD I'm almost completely well. So it's 2,5 weeks left to kick ass until next break.
We've started with our "individuella val" cours (50p) now, I chose Speech A. As said before I totally suck at making up speeches and making them sound a bit sane! I don't have problems with getting up there and standing in front of people, I just want to then be good at talking to all fo them. XD
It started this tuesday, not many people showed up but I know there's mroe to come on thursday. We started out with some fun excercises and I really hope I'm getting ebtter at speaking after this course, if not I'll fail -_-.

I got a sudden kick of writing about an old subject that haven't very current but I've (we've) noticed more and more now. EMOISM...
I thought it was kinda over last year, it had faded away. I thought it was just a crazy trend during 2006, really it was crazy. Suddenly emo kids popped out of everywhere and everyone started to look like each other with the black clothes and the heavy mascara. My chemical romance and Panic! at the disco was on everybody's mp3's.
I was like, come on is it so fun being alternative now? One thing I don't often mention is this wave of emo's is not people older than me not many were the same age as me, they're all younger! I have a theory of the people in my age, many of them may have been "emo" at the period but figured out how stupid it really was and just abandoned it.
Anwyay so I started high school (gymnasiet), all the students there are older so automatically you don't see much emo's anymore and yeah my school are really more like an "ey!" school than an alternative school. XD So if they're not in your school you pretty much don't notice them anywhere, sometimes here and there but not like in troops. Then I thought well yeah this silly trend had to fade away sometime!

So this year, halfway through the year me and my friends (which you all know talks about not the most common things) we notice something. Hey, haven't you guys seen a lot of emo's on this school lately? I was like: Now when you bring it up, yeah you're right!
UH OH...
Is this a result of the great emo expansion 2 years ago? Will they be invading high school now?

(Hoho, this discussion turned out so lame, hope you can comment anyway XD)

And the..*snivel*..oscar..*snivel*.goes to!

Haya, I've UNFORTUNATELY caught a nasty cold making me stay home today. Guash feel like every drop of water I drink transforms to snot within a half minute and I think I've used up a whole forest today! I've got a bit better (I think) and will be returning to school tomorrow.

While my head wasn't explosing from headache and when I wasn't sweating like a pig, I got the time to watch the Oscars I taped last night. My darn tape however wasn't long enough for the actual awards, only got to the sound mixing. :( I think Jon Stewart did a great job as a host, way better than Ellen DeGeneres last year! XD
I'm not going to sit here and say whoever deserved their Oscar or anything, I was most surpirsed over Marion Cotillard winning the Best Actress in a leading role. You go girl! :D Let's check the list of winners instead:

Ffwweeuuh! XD

According to me, best dressed at this years Oscars.

Cate Blanchett, (Johnny Depp) and Vanessa Paradis

Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner
Feels like the attendees copied each other in one or another way, quite disappointing to see.
There were ALOT of red and black this year, some gowns better than others. Heidi Klum, Helen Mirren, Miley Cyrus (!), Katherine Heigl for example. Whn it comes to black one shouldered was definate the msot popular.
Anne Hathaways in a Marchesa was the most the beautiful in red, but my absolute favourite was Jennifer Garner in an Oscar de la Renta Helens looked alot like last years, liked last years better. Wow finally Miley puts on something half nice, how come she is EVERYWHERE all the time?!?! It's crazy! Cameron Diaz was disappointment though, I actually think she did that dress a couple of years ago, didn't she?! I was was very eager to see Ellen Page, who must have had the least pretty dress this evening. Nice to see Cate Blanchett, Kelly Preston and Jessica Alba in other colours.

Jump this one

It's a shame that I have all this free time but still don't write anything here. I feel a bit....sad.
Several things have happend since I last wrote but not sure if it's interessting enough for me to write about it (like I always write interessting stuff XD).

My friend and her sister came down here for a couple of days, it was fun. We've haven't seen each other since christmas.
We went to the movies, the Swedish premiere of JUMPER.
I've seen the trailer right, with these REALLY cool special effects and action scenes but I wanted to see it mostly because Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson is in it. I thought the story was really cool, jumping through space (teleporting) and then there are these bad guys who wants to kill them. That was about everything I knew about the movie before I watched it. I was really excited it seemed JUST like a movie I'd love, not even after the papers had given it a crappy grade, it couldn't turn me down.

Anyway, about the movie........it really sucked! The whole story was totally incoherent, nothing made really sense oh wait, there WAS NO STORY.
Let me sum it all up: yeah David has this ability to teleport(jump), grows up, finds his childhood crush "the girl next door" (getting old isn't it?) asks her to come with him on a travel, and she does (just like that), people starts to come after him blalblbla they go after his family (CLASSIC!), he has to save his girlfriend. In there evil mothers, weird electric equippment, unecessary intimate scene and LOADS of unnatural behaviour are mixed like a big cauldron of nasty soup. Almost half of all the scenes very totally unnecessary or really confusing.
I might have written it down sounding like a coherent story it is NOT, believe me...

Annasophia Robb was great though, when I think about it now she was one of the highlighst of this film and she was in it 9 minutes tops. But only that she is 15 and Max Thieriot who plays young Daving (main character) is 20 and you can really see that Annasophia, still with the wig and all that make-up was waaay too young for th role. I don't know what the castingdirectors thought, she doesn't even look like Rachel Bilson!! XD
The thing is they've casted all these known actors and actresses (Samuel l Jackson, Diane Lane, Kristen Stewart, Jamie Bell), for what?! They really thought this movie was going to be something really BIG, like HUGE! WHAT A WASTE OF TALENTS! There's absolutely no doubt that they did this movie in mind of doing a sequel.

The "jumping" is SO COOL though, the special effects were in general very impressive, it's like nothing you've seen before, I'd almost say that you have to see this film for these special effects but just almost. The action scenes were hard to keep up with, with all the jumping (teleporting) from here and there in every split second.
There were also ALOT of hand-camera moments! Okej not a lot but some, I felt really sick after a while and I even thought of watching Cloverfield! I think not!

An Ego result

Haya, haven't written for some days now. Let's see how the Ego-test went!

The right answers:
1. Tiffany has a big family and many of her relatives lives in different parts of Sweden.
-False, I have a pretty big family but neither of them lives in Sweden..
2. Tiffany listens to funny music but 98% of all the time she listens to music it is to Jonas Brothers.
-True, MUHAHAHA XD
3. Tiffany has an iPod nano
-True, yupp the bitter truth I even have the first verision with 2 GB
4. Tiffany's favourite actress is Dakota Fanning
-True, she's simply brilliant!
5. Tiffany's favourite Heroes character is Hiro Nakamura
-False, don't actually like Hiro that much, no NATHAN FTW! :D
6. Tiffany gets real anxious watching clips of melting ice on the poles
-True, I get this really uncomfortable feeling of being so unsignificent and helpless, it's really sad.
7. Tiffany plays Guitar Hero on the level hard sometimes expert
-False, HOHO then you haven't read my previous entries. I play like on below easy (like Joe XD)
8. Tiffany enjoys listening to classical music
-True, yeah sure it relaxes me :D
9. Tiffany takes guitar lessons
-False, no but I wish I could :'(
10. Tiffany enjoys speaking in public
-True, well truth is I like speaking and presenting stuff in front of people but the thing is I have some hard time putting together fancy sentences and such.

Most interessting if I analyse the results is that non of you got the right answer on the classical music thing, well except Jenny but we're just gonna entirely exclude her in this case. You don't think I do? I think much of you know I listens to way too much instrumental soundtracks than what's good for me but doesn't that lead you on this track?
Hohoho. Anyway on the up side non of you answered wrong on me listening to Jonas Brothers 98% of the time and my "save the world!" craze. HAHAHA, I think I've accomplished something nice here. XD
I think it was really interessting to see who actually knew me the most, XD.
First comes..my sister XD. Then comes the best friend and the classmate, then the rest of my very good friends.

THANKS so muhc for taking you time for doing this, I appreciated it so much! :D:D

Cat among the pigeons

Haya, feel like writing some. As for my real life (does she have one?) it is really nice and relaxed, I'm going on a week long break on monday. Just being able to play the guitar all day long, watch tons of movies, sleeping late or just DO NOTHING is absolutely wonderful!

I've started to rewatch the whole Heroes season one, huhuhu it's so great. Have almost forgotten about Isaac...and Simone..and EDEN! :'(
It's really crazy how they've managed to put in SO many Helix signs, all over the place! It was even on Claire's geography book! Wonder if they'll ever say where it comes from....

Have been hanging out with a friend I haven't been for long. It's really too bad. Feels liek I don't have time to do ANYTHING anymore. We ate pizza, watched a movie played some game it was really girls night in. It was really nice. Man, I gotta do things for myself for change, right?! XD

I've been surfing around for almost...too long now, found out a couple of interesting things. First, I haven't read or seen anything concerning Katie Leung in ages, which I did all the time...before (oh I miss those days :'(). She's starring in a new movie, a dramatization of Agatha Christie's "Cat among the pigeons".
You may not believe me but I am actually reading the book RIGHT NOW. Our class has to read a english for writing a book review as a test or something weird and I wanted to read a detective novel. I've read some really lousy ones before so I wanted to read some classics, Agatha Christie! First I wanted to read "The ABC murderes" since I've read about it on Conan (Oh the nerdiness, YES!), but they were all rented out so I had to pick another, I've heard of some of her books before but non of them really called to me. I looked for some more and found "Cat among the pigeons" from the very moment I knew it was something I'd like.
So now when I've got some time to read, I've really come into it now. And I will wait with excitement until the introduction of Katie's character. ;)

Check out the trailer to Sisterhood of Travelling pants 2: http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?vid=209192
I hardly remember anythign from the book anymore...XD

An Ego-test

Hohohoh, I have absolutely nothing sensible, funny nor important to write about. I could go on about the many TV series I watch or about my history assignment I succesed in doing without outstress myself.

So here comes something perfectly egoistic and interesting only for me.
I call it my Ego test. I'll post 10 statements about myself and it's up to you to decide if they're true or false.
Yeah, I dont know how I can function with all this egoism and taking up your precious time but.....I am what I am (muahahhaXD). Here goes the statements:
1. Tiffany has a big family and many of her relatives lives in different parts of Sweden.
2. Tiffany listens to funny music but 98% of all the time she listens to music it is to Jonas Brothers.
3. Tiffany has an iPod nano
4. Tiffany's favourite actress is Dakota Fanning
5. Tiffany's favourite Heroes character is Hiro Nakamura
6. Tiffany gets real anxious watching clips of melting ice on the poles
7. Tiffany plays Guitar Hero on the level hard sometimes expert
8. Tiffany enjoys listening to classical music
9. Tiffany takes guitar lessons
10. Tiffany enjoys speaking in public

Hohoho........let's nail this thing!
