It's P U S H

Talk about mega awesome. XD Camilla Belle, ftw!

Inverness

Hi there. As you maybe remember I said we'd do this sightseeing/museum day teh day before yesterday (...), that was quite interesting actually but I guess going to Inverness would beat that. XD

So the train from Edinburgh Waverely (muahhaha Jenny ;) would depart at 6.40 and I got up at 5.20. But surprisingly it wasn't that hard to get up, I was then dead tired at the train but that's another story XD.
We had to change train once in Perth (photo 1) but otherwise the trip was quite pleasant.

We arrived in Inverness about 10.30 and we went straight to the tourist info centre to make our first interview. The bus for Drumnadrochit would leave at 11.30 so we had a bit of time to go around in the city. Inverness is a really nice quite modern city, for being a small city it still had great shopping. (Mahaha, they had Primark I mean Edinbrugh doesn't even have that! XD)

11.30 we took the local bus out to Drumnadrochit. It's here where the Loch Ness monster exhibition is. When we arrived in Drumnadrochit it we got ourselves quite a shock. I knew personally that it wasn't a big city, but I thought it was like a small town.
No people, Drumnadrochit is the village is all villages, or if you even can call it a village since it's so small. It was literally 6 houses along the freeway and a supermarket. Then a big up from there was the hotel and Loch Ness exhibition centre. We joke alot about that Svedala (suburb to Malmö) is the country, but that is like a metropolitan compared to this hole (håla XD).

We had an interview 2 o'clock so we thought that we'd hand out the questionnaries until then. But as deserted this "village" was (så hålig som denna hålan var) there were not much people. So we had to jump at every single person we saw, at most I think we were up at 5 people per hour. Then it started to rain, it was dreadful! XD
It somehow managed to stand it until 2 o'clock when we got in contact with our interview person by phone. He was still a bit busy so he recommended us to watch (take,go) the exhibition for the present. We went in, it was dark and scary. There were 6 different rooms and in each there was a video to watch, it wasn't more than that. Afterwards we finally did the interview and the guy was very nice and helpful. when we were done we realized it wasn't until more than an hour to the next bus back to Inverness. So we had to sit and mould at the café for 1 hour.

When we left the hole of all holes, 15.55, we had 26 filled questionnaires, which I'm still surprised that we managed to get. The remaining 4 questionnaires we handed out in Inverness (the civilization). So now we had about 5 hours before the departure (20.10) of the train back to Edinburgh. I was glad that we could do shopping the rest of the time now. But I had to rethink that when the shops closed at 7 and my feet ached. we waited around in the trainstation for more than one hour before boarding. Dreadful.

From there it was another 4 hours before coming home. All in all, it was a quite pleasant trip. we got to see the Loch ness, the Scottish stereotype landscape, snow, a very nice city (Inverness) and did some great shopping. It was much tiring but nice. :)

New Poll!

About the poll, it's kinda funny that most of you guys' guilty pleasure is Jonas Brothers. I mean, that is my ONLY pleasure. XD JB is pretty much my life now and there is no part of me whatsoever that is ashamed of that. It's not like I tell everyone I see that I love Jonas Brothers, mostly because I'm usually a person that don't go around and tell people stuff if they haven't asked me first.
But really what's so embarrassing about Jonas Brothers? XD

I'm however glad nobody voted Miley/Hannah as their guilty pleasure, I might have end the relationship we had ;) (jk)

I'm sry I haven't written the past few days, much have been going on and I can't wait to tell you. 3 (of 5) of us went to Inverness and Drumnadrochit today. Long journey, long journey. I woke up around 5 today and just got home. I'll get some sleep and I'll tell you more :D

Here's a sneak peek:

Ally stay with Dirk!

Oh geesh, this really reminds me of why I love the boys so much.

T H E Y A R E P L A I N A W E S O M E

This is not just something for JB fans out there (well mostly) or people who enjoys great humour in general (Joe is the ultimate!) XD. Attention Swedish inhabitans, Marabou Mjölk choklad have reached the boys. It's pretty awesome how Kevin tries to pronounce it and Joe tries to open it. XD Must be great for those who sent it, I salute you! :)

The video reminds me of how much I've missed them and love them. I'm glad that they're still awesome and cares for us even in busy times. :D

Don't lose faith, fans! :)

I don't think I've laughed that hard for a long time now, like stomach ache! XD
"Joe, why are you wearing a helmet?"
"Why aren't you wearing a helmet"
"Good point"

"So Ally, you're supposed to date Derek"
"It's Dirk"
"I don't know, Derek"

OH MY, this just made my day. I love you boys! :D

Pink goo, yum!

Bird looking for love outside St Giles church

Night blogging.

The day has been quite up and down. I finally came up with an idea to my novel, the weather was kinda nice, me and Didrik went out and ended up woundering around aimlessly through half of Edinburgh. It was really interessting though to see new parts of the city, it is after all a very (very) nice city. :D Then we had trouble with the tickets to Inverness and all the problems made me almost give up everything, but fortunately we fixed it and we have even fetched the tickets.
We made "lasagne" today. It was the first time for any of us to make lasagne. First of all the kitchen tools here are different and worse then the ones you ahve at home and secondly english food ingredients are not the same as Swedish, I mean they evidently don't have crushed tomoatoes, and what is the English word for matlagningsgrädde and keso, huh? XD The "lasange" ended up looking like pink goo....but it was edible :P

I think we'll do more sightseeing and maybe even go to some museums tomorrow. Have to be well-rested then for another day of walking :D I'm so glad we live (relatively) central XD

The architecture in Edinburgh has a great contrast, it's quite cool.

Home sweet home

Here I am breakfast blogging again. XD What's up anyway? How's everything back in Sweden? :P

It was yesterday evening, for once I felt a bit homesick. We went with our teacher to eat at a chinese restaurant, and one of the owners spoke cantonese (what I speak at home). I really missed chinese food and just for the sake of feeling better I even ordered duck. Ah, it felt like it was so long time ago! :D And for once in a long time I was really full.
And Jenny, if you read this tell mum I miss her cooking! XD

Otherwise it's been stormy (very!) over here. Me and Kajsa could hardly walk to the supermarket yesterday. It's almost crazy that we must buy food everyday, mostly bread and juice. XD And that is one of the excuses I use to sit in, almost the whole day.
I would like to discover more of Edinburgh, just not when it's freezing or very windy. Maybe a day like today...
And lastly, guys I haven't forgotten to send you postcards. I'm just waiting with writing until when there are a few more things to write about. :D I miss you guys! :)

A windy day
