No wonder in wonderland

Hey dudes,
Times not on my side right now. I'm trying to manage 24h studying with breaks with blogging with cooking with socializing with speaking to my family with actually having a life, but the latter I just have to save for another day.

Can't wait for easter break to come, but I also don't in a way because I know I have to finish a lot of work by the break, so it's love-hate relationship. XD It's busy busy busy busy.

But I actually found time to go watch Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland this Monday with my flatmate. How can I say this really? Lewis Carroll would'nt have liked it. XD

I Don't like the story at all. I think if it wasn't Alice in Wonderland it would have been a decent movie, like some Narnia-wannabe-fighting for imaginary world type of movie, I could buy that. But being a sequel to Alice in Wonderland....it's not really ok. There's basically nothing Alice in Wonderland-ish about the movie, it's like Burton has taken all of the characters and thrown them into a different movie.

Neh, perhaps I love the original too much. But hey the 3D was amazing. :P

82nd Academy Awards

Hey,
Just finsihed watching the red carpet arrivlas to this years Oscars. And I can gladly say this year was a good year (unlike the past 2-3 yers). My favourites tonight was Zoe Kravitz, Anna Kendrick, Rachel McAdams and Sandra Bullock.

I'm crossing my fingers and toes (and everything you can possibly can cross) for Sherlock to win later tonight.

Feel the beat of that tamburine

Sry guys,
I've been crazy busy these past days. My other blog is up running and I've been putting all my energy on it, please check it out and don't hesitate to comment! http://www.twitaddict.blogspot.com/

As I said my cousin from Switzerland was here last Friday and went home 2 days ago. It was absolutely great to see her again, haven't seen her in 3 years! We were all over London. Oxford st, Covent Garden, Notting Hill, National portrait gallery, Tate modern, Tower Hill, Westminster, China Town, Hyde Park, Camden...hahhaha anything else? XD It was like a 4 day long photo session, and I loved it.

I especially liked going artsy at National portrait gallery and Tate modern. I wanted to go there a long time, just didn't have anyone to go with.

Here are some of my favourite pics;
